This novel has been a really pleasant reading, is so romantic, sweet, funny, with many interesting and bizarre characters and a set very special. I like to read books by Shirlee McCoy and will look for more of her books to read in the future. I liked Apricot and her family but I would not want to eat cow tongue either. Someone dropped a box of kittens at the farm, because there is no animal shelter in town and the next town over has one but it is a kill one. She is not ready for another relationship. She has given the last 5 years to her fiance. The other two policeman in Apple Valley had there own romances in the first two books of the series.Īpricot owns her own business in LA. Simon has moved to Apple Valley after his wife died before his twin girls were one year old. She ends up being held hostage till the cop comes and she has sworn off men. She is driving a old truck and pulling a trailer wearing her pink wedding dress when it breaks down only 3 miles from her Aunt's place so she gets her bike out and rides it because she destroyed her phone. Apricot was supposed to get married and be on her honeymoon but her groom showed up 2 hours late to wedding.
